You and your pet, on a beach at sunset
Save yourself and your pet once, each from a few photos, and RefVid puts both of you in the same clip: walking along the waterline at golden hour, then sitting side by side as the sun sets. Both keep their own looks in both shots.

Made from these photos
What you get
- You and your pet, each from 1–5 photos, in one clip
- 2 shots, 10 seconds, wide 16:9
- Golden-hour light, waves and a slow camera
- No watermark
Who it’s for
For pet owners who never get a photo with their pet because they are always the one holding the phone, for a gift to someone who loves their pet, and for pet brands showing owner and animal together.
The prompt
What the studio fills in for you. Your subject takes the place in brackets; you can change any of it.
- Shot 1Wide shot at golden hour: [you] walks barefoot along the waterline of a quiet beach with [your pet] keeping pace beside them, gentle waves washing in, warm low sun behind them.
- Shot 2[you] and [your pet] sit side by side on the sand seen from behind, looking out at the sun setting into the sea. Slow push-in, warm orange sky.
Make it yours
Choose your place
Swap the beach for your local park path, a mountain trail or a field of tall grass at sunset.
Add play
Write a ball or a stick into the first shot, or your pet running ahead and turning back toward you.
Change the weather
Try a snowy walk in winter coats, a misty morning, or a spring day with blossom falling.
Photos that work best
Pets: 1–5 sharp photos of the same pet, one face-on at eye level and one of the whole body from the side, so the coat, markings and size come through. Daylight beats flash, which turns eyes green or red.
People: 1–5 photos with the face clearly visible and evenly lit — a straight-on portrait first, then a three-quarter angle and a profile. Skip sunglasses, heavy filters and group shots; if a photo shows more than one person, the studio can’t tell who you mean.
How it works
- Sign in and add your pet and you, each from 1–5 photos. Each subject is saved once, so every later template takes one tap.
- The studio opens with this template filled in: both shots, 10 seconds, 16:9. Change any word you like.
- Press Generate. The clip is ready in a few minutes, without a watermark, and the same subject is there for the next one.
Questions
- Which pets work?
- Any pet you can photograph clearly: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, even a goose. Use 1 to 5 sharp photos of the same animal, front-on, from the side and full body; RefVid keeps its face, coat or feathers and markings in every shot.
- Can it be a park or a mountain instead?
- Yes. The template opens in the studio with both shots filled in; change the beach to a park, a forest trail or a mountain lake before you generate.
- How much does this template cost?
- A new RefVid account’s free credits cover one 3-second clip. The full template is 10 seconds: buy it as a single video, with no plan, or use credits from a pack or plan. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Can I make dog and owner videos with a cat or another pet?
- Yes: the slot says "your pet", so any pet you save works, with you beside it.
- Is this an alternative to a pet and owner photoshoot?
- It is the video version, made from photos you already have, with no session to book and no pet to keep still.
