Your pet, floating in space
Upload a few photos of your pet once and RefVid sends it into orbit: a small white space suit with the helmet open, drifting weightless past the window of a space station while Earth glows blue below. It stays your pet — the same face, coat and markings — just without gravity.

Made from these photos
What you get
- Your own pet from 1–5 photos, the same face in space
- 1 shot, 5 seconds, wide 16:9
- Weightless float, Earth in the window
- No watermark
Who it’s for
For pet owners who want something sillier than another sofa photo, for science-loving families and classrooms, and for pet brands that want a scroll-stopping ad. It works as a birthday surprise for anyone who calls their cat or dog "the commander".
The prompt
What the studio fills in for you. Your subject takes the place in brackets; you can change any of it.
- Inside a bright space station, [your pet] in a small white astronaut suit with the helmet visor open floats weightless toward the camera, paws drifting, as the blue Earth glows through the large window behind. Slow, dreamy movement.
Make it yours
Change the mission
Swap the space station for the surface of the Moon, a rocket cockpit at launch, or a spacewalk with a tether and stars all around.
Pick the suit
Describe an orange suit with patches, a retro silver suit, or just a tiny helmet so more of your pet’s coat shows.
Add a floating snack
Write a treat or a toy drifting past the window so your pet turns its head to follow it.
Photos that work best
Pets: 1–5 sharp photos of the same pet, one face-on at eye level and one of the whole body from the side, so the coat, markings and size come through. Daylight beats flash, which turns eyes green or red.
How it works
- Sign in and add your pet from 1–5 photos. Each subject is saved once, so every later template takes one tap.
- The studio opens with this template filled in: the shot, 5 seconds, 16:9. Change any word you like.
- Press Generate. The clip is ready in a few minutes, without a watermark, and the same subject is there for the next one.
Questions
- Which pets work?
- Dogs, cats, rabbits and most other pets work from a few clear photos; the prompt only says "your pet", so nothing assumes a species.
- Can I make it vertical?
- Switch the ratio to 9:16 in the studio; the same scene is framed for phones.
- How much does this template cost?
- A new RefVid account’s free credits cover one 3-second clip. The full template is 5 seconds: buy it as a single video, with no plan, or use credits from a pack or plan. Current prices are on the pricing page.
- Can I make a cat in space video with my own cat?
- Yes: save your cat once from a few photos and open this template. It works the same for dogs and other pets.
- Do I need an astronaut cat costume?
- No costume needed: the suit is generated around your pet from its photos.
