Gemini Omni Flash is Google's video model from the Gemini Omni family. Version 1.2 became generally available on November 5, 2026, with clips of 3 to 15 seconds, and Google lists it as the replacement for the Veo 3.1 preview models it shut down on October 22.

RefVid runs version 1.1, which makes 3- to 10-second clips with sound from 1 to 10 photos of your product or character, in 16:9 or 9:16. The box above is already set to Gemini Omni Flash.

What Gemini Omni Flash is

  • Gemini Omni Flash is a Google model that makes video, with audio, from text, images and video references. The first version, gemini-omni-flash-preview, arrived on June 30, 2026 at 720p only. Version 1.1 followed on August 27, 2026, adding 360p, 1080p and 4K output, clip extension and first-and-last-frame video. Version 1.2 became generally available on November 5, 2026: clips of 3 to 15 seconds with native audio, extension of 3 to 10 seconds a turn up to 30 seconds in all, and 30% lower output prices, according to Google's Gemini API changelog and model page. From December 3, 2026, Google routes requests for 1.1 to 1.2.
  • RefVid runs Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 through fal.ai's reference-to-video endpoint, which takes up to 10 reference images and makes 3 to 10 seconds at 720p or 1080p. Every clip has sound; there is no silent version. It makes 16:9 and 9:16 only, so a square template moves to 16:9 when you pick it.

Gemini Omni Flash 1.2 and 1.1 vs the preview and Veo 3.1 Fast

  • Google shut down both gemini-omni-flash-preview and the Veo 3.1 preview models on October 22, 2026 and names Gemini Omni Flash 1.2 as the replacement for each; 1.1 itself routes to 1.2 from December 3. Against Veo 3.1 Fast's 8 seconds, 1.1 makes up to 10 and 1.2 up to 15, and fal's endpoints take 10 reference images instead of Google's 3 for Veo.

Gemini Omni Flash reference to video: your subject, with sound

  • On RefVid, the photos you add become one saved subject, a product or a character, and Gemini Omni Flash builds each new scene around it. Because every clip has sound, it suits clips where something is said or heard: a creator holding your product and talking about it, a pet reacting to a noise, a street scene.
  • Give it 3 to 5 photos from different angles in plain light: front, side and a close-up of the label for a product; front, profile and full body for a person. Then write the scene and what is heard, for example: "She holds the serum bottle up to the camera and says it lasts all day, soft kitchen sounds behind her."

Make a Gemini Omni Flash video in three steps

  • Add 1 to 10 photos of your product or character in the box at the top of this page, or start from a template in the row above it. The box is already set to Gemini Omni Flash at 720p.
  • Write what happens and what is heard in a sentence or two. Settings changes the length (3 to 10 seconds), the shape (16:9 or 9:16) and 1080p.
  • Press Generate. If you are not signed in, you sign in first and the clip starts right after. A clip usually takes 2 to 10 minutes, and we email you when it is ready.

What a Gemini Omni Flash clip costs on RefVid

  • Every clip is priced in credits per second, sound included, as in the table above, and the studio shows the total before anything runs. New accounts get free credits for a first clip, with no watermark. After that, single videos start at $2.99, one-time credit packs at $9.90 and monthly plans at $10. A failed clip refunds its credits automatically.

Gemini Omni Flash next to every RefVid model: measured clips, wait and cost

  • These numbers are our own, not the vendor's: every clip people outside our team started on RefVid from October 27 – November 6, 2026, split by the model they picked, with how many finished and the median wait from the start of the generation to the finished clip. Next to them are each model's photo limit, clip length and what a 5-second clip costs today, so Gemini Omni Flash can be read against the other models in one table.
  • The finished share and the wait are shown only where a model had at least 20 finished or failed clips in the period; the models added most recently have fewer so far. A failed clip costs nothing: its credits go back to the account. The table follows the newest snapshot of our usage statistics.

Photos and clip length are RefVid's settings for each model. Credits are for a 5-second clip at the model's standard resolution, without sound unless the model always adds it (Kling 4); the cost uses the $9.90 credit pack.

When another model fits better

  • Gemini Omni Flash suits short clips with sound. For a square clip or one longer than 10 seconds, pick Kling 4, Wan 3.0 or Vidu Q4 in Settings. For a silent clip at a lower price per second, Kling 3.0 Omni, Vidu Q4 and PixVerse C1 cost less. Your saved subjects work with every model.

Frequently asked questions

Is Gemini Omni Flash free on RefVid?

New accounts get 180 free credits for a first clip, with no watermark and no card. A Gemini Omni Flash clip always has sound, so it costs a little more per second than the silent free clip; if a clip costs more than your credits, the box says so before anything runs and offers what fits.

What is the Gemini Omni Flash price?

On fal.ai, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 reference to video, the version RefVid runs, costs $0.10 a second at 720p and $0.15 at 1080p, and 1.2 costs $0.0819 and $0.1229. Google's own API charges about $0.07 a second at 720p for 1.2 (read November 6, 2026). On RefVid a clip is priced in credits per second, sound included; the table above has the numbers.

Does Gemini Omni Flash make sound?

Yes. Every Gemini Omni Flash clip is generated with audio, and there is no silent version, so on RefVid the sound switch stays on for this model.

How many reference images does Gemini Omni Flash take?

fal.ai's Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 reference-to-video endpoint takes up to 10 images, and its 1.2 endpoint 10 images plus 3 videos; Google's 1.2 release notes describe consistency across up to 6 reference images. On RefVid you add up to 10 photos of one subject.

Gemini Omni Flash vs Veo 3.1: which should I use?

Google shut down the Veo 3.1 preview models in the Gemini API on October 22, 2026 and lists Gemini Omni Flash 1.2 as their replacement. Gemini Omni Flash makes up to 10 seconds on 1.1 and 15 on 1.2, against Veo 3.1 Fast's 8, and fal's endpoints take up to 10 reference images, against Veo's 3.
